What is Kids With Heart?

Does someone you know go out of their way to make the world a better place? Or do you have a friend that takes time out of their day to do a good deed for someone else? Nominate them to be a Kid With Heart!!

Kids With Heart recognizes children and young adults in your community for the acts of kindness and generosity they perform. If someone you know is a Kid With Heart, nominate them online by clicking here or by visiting your local shopping center to pick up a nomination form. Nominations must include a photo of your favorite Kid With Heart. Check with your local Developers Diversified Realty center for the nomination deadline.

A grand-prize winner and nine runners-up will be announced at your local shopping center as the 2009 Kids With Heart award recipients; prizes include a $500 donation to the charity of the grand-prize winner’s choice and 10 $100 shopping sprees. The 2010 Kids With Heart program kicks off Valentine’s Day weekend and will culminate in April with a recognition ceremony. The new timing of the program is designed to coincide with National Volunteer Month in April.
